In January of 1998, George Hoffman was diagnosed with a glioblastoma multiforme. That May, we all (George included) walked in the first Brain Tumor 5K. Our family has walked in every one since in his memory. And I always wear the 1998 shirt. Every year, I pray that this is the year a cure will be found and this will be the last time the race needs to be held.
Come join us at the race and at my house afterwards for lunch!
The Race for Hope - DC presented by Cushman & Wakefield raises funds to support innovative research initiatives and provide information for brain tumor patients and their families. This amazing event relies on the dedication and enthusiasm of individuals, families, teams, volunteers, sponsors and donors. Thank you for your support in helping us find a cure for brain tumors!
