The Race for Hope - DC presented by Cushman & Wakefield raises funds to support innovative research initiatives and provide information for brain tumor patients and their families. This amazing event relies on the dedication and enthusiasm of individuals, families, teams, volunteers, sponsors and donors. Thank you for your support in helping us find a cure for brain tumors!
Our reMARKable brother has been the epitome of health and fitness all of his life, enjoying a vigorous spinning class nearly every day, eating right, and maintaining his flexibility. How many other 64 year olds can still do a split?!! You can imagine how dumbstruck we were to learn that he had been diagnosed with inoperable, stage 4 Glioblastoma - brain cancer.
This reMARKable man always has been the leader of our family and a source of wisdom, strength and bravery to all of us. His generosity and talents have spread beyond the family, however. Several years ago, he gave up the big paychecks of the corporate world to share his gifts in the world of non profits where he has led efforts to help the impoverished and more recently, create a brighter future for children with developmental disabilities. He has served as a mentor to colleagues and a role model to many others. Wouldn't it be nice if we could do something to give back to Mark?
If Mark has touched your life in some way, please join our team, "The reMARKables" for The Race for Hope 5k in D.C. on Sunday, May 5th. YOU DON"T NEED TO BE A RUNNER to participate! Most of us plan to walk! It is a lovely event. I'm sure it would mean the world to Mark. Aren't available that day? Live out of town? Consider making a donation to our team. In any case, help us spread the word to YOUR contacts, friends and colleagues. Help the reMARKables beat brain cancer.
