Let's come together in Kirsten's memory to run/walk a 5K in Washington DC on Sunday, May 5th for a great cause!
Kirsten was diagnosed with a brain tumor in November of 2018, and on December 27, 2018, she passed away to an aggressive glioblastoma. She was a loving mother, wife, physician, and friend to many. She left an incredible mark on this world with her giving, loving, kind heart as well as her infectious laugh and sense of humor.
It has been amazing to see the group of her friends, family, coworkers, church members, and others brought together because of her. We have provided an unwaivering source of strength, support, and love for one another in the face of such loss, which I'm certain Kirsten is delighted to see.
So let's do this 5K together to raise money for a great cause, and to come together in Kirsten's beautiful memory!
The Race for Hope funds are used to support innovative research initiatives and provide information for brain tumor patients and their families. This amazing event relies on the dedication and enthusiasm of individuals, families, teams, volunteers, sponsors and donors. Thank you for your support in helping us find a cure for brain tumors!
