Welcome to My Personal Page
For the last 6 years we have been blessed because Bobby's tumor has been stable. But last year, the tumor changed and so on June 11, Bobby had his 3rd craniotomy and he has begun radiation and chemo since the tumor is now considered a Grade 3 anaplastic astrocytoma. Although family and friends were devastated by the recent diagnosis, Bobby has approached this with the same hope and strength that has helped him succeed in all his endeavors.
Bobby's hope and strength and determination has allowed him to defy all the odds; although some said he would never graduate from high school, Bobby graduated on May 19 from Villanova University with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. He is focused on his health and his work; he is passionate about his work and strong in his commitment to bring a sense of peace and hope to his clients.
Team Hope Brings Strength has raised more than $45,000 over the past four years and although I was not able to cross the finish line the last few years because of injuries, I will do my best to cross it this year with friends and family joining me in this cause. I will continue to push myself so that all those with this dreadful disease can find hope to fight and to remember those who have lost their battle.
Bobby's tumor still exists, my heart is broken and so I will NOT rest until I know there is a cure. The National Brain Tumor Society will not rest until a cure exists. Please join me as Hope Brings Strength runs the Race for Hope 2018! Thank you for your support!
National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. They are aggressively driving strategic research; advocating for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community; and providing comprehensive patient, family and caregiver resources. Your support ensures this important work will continue.
