Remembering Chris Demos
On April 15, 2011 Chris was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma, a relatively rare type of brain tumor. No one knows what caused this to develop. Modern medicine continues to view this type of tumor as a mystery. Despite 3 surgeries and aggressive treatments Chris passed away on December 25, 2012.
Alyssa and I are uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. The National Brain Tumor Society is making strides for a cure - there is great progress lately, but much more needs to be done. Please join us on race day to remember Chris and raise money for a worthy cause.
National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. They are aggressively driving strategic research and advocating for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community. Your support ensures this important work will continue.
