Braun's Brain Busters
Thank you for visiting my team page, Braun's Brain Busters.
I am a survivor off 33 years and I wanted to celebrate it this year with forming a team to participate in the Race for Hope to raise awareness and money for research into finding a cure.
At 3 years old i was diagnoised with a brain tumor which turned out to be benign. It primarily affected my motor skills. I underwent rehab and therapy at the Ronald McDonald Seashore House at CHOP. I had to relearn all of the basics: coordination, speech, walking, etc.
I am vey grateful and extremely lucky to have what I have and to be where I am at. I decided to form this team to help the National Brain Tumor Society raise awarness and eventually find a cure for this monster. I want to pay it forward to those who are battling and those who survived. I also want to honor and keep the memory alive for those who lost their lives.
Please consider joining my team and/or donating to the cause. Let's bust this!
National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. They are aggressively driving strategic research and advocating for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community. Your support ensures this important work will continue.
