Defeat the Star Crab: A Race to Destroy Cancer

The zodiac sign and constellation 'Cancer' are for some reason labelled 'the crab.' Being the people we are, my brothers and I decided that this meant that in order to cure Cancer we would need to defeat the star crab. I swear it all made sense at the time.

Anyway, I'd be honored if you joined me or donated to help defeat the star crab in honor of my father. Dad passed this May after a truly valliant 15-year fight against the star crab - which for him manifested as brain tumors. (Which are particularly terrible little bastards, if I do say so myself).

But long before that battle, Dad was a marathon runner. One of my fondest memories is of a run we took together when I finally decided that maybe there were reasons people ran other than being chased. I told him before he passed that I was going to run a marathon and he was proud. So I'm going to run this for him - as the first of many steps towards a marathon - and to raise money so other kids can have more years with their dads and less fear of the star crab.
