Team Buckeyes!

Please help me raise money in honor of my dad, Don Leppert who passed away six years ago from Glioblastoma Multiform (GBM).

What is GBM?

It's a brain tumor that is the most malignant and most common. The cause is still unknown and there is no cure. The median survival is around 14 - 15 months, 2-year survival rate is 30% and over five years is 10%. (Information from the American Brain Tumor Association)

Notable people that passed away from a GBM:

Beau Biden and Ted Kennedy

My Story:

Shortly after I graduated college, my dad was diagnosed with a GBM that was not operable. His right hand and leg were affected which limited my dad's ability to be mobile. He was always active and the lack of his mobility made his last year very difficult. In his youth he was a runner, a camper, hiker and was always repairing our house.  He always put my mom and I first and provided a wonderful life for us. He was an incredible man that I always look up to. He passed away too soon and I want, with your help, to prevent this fate for other families. There is a cure but we just have to find it.
