Hope Brings Strength

Team Hope Brings Strength will once again participate in the National Brain Tumor Society, Race for Hope, to raise awareness and money for those impacted by brain tumors.

"Hope Brings Strength" began as a family motto nearly 7 years ago, when Bobby was diagnosed with a large mass on the left side of his brain; a diffuse, Grade 2 astrocytoma near the language center of the brain. Bobby was 17 years old and a senior in high school with his whole life ahead of him; today Bobby is a recent alum from Villanova University where he graduated with his MS in Clinical Counseling. Bobby is using his experiences as a survivor and a fighter to help others find peace and harmony in their own lives. He is meant to make a difference in this world!

Bobby tumor still exists, and unfortunately it changed over this past year and so he had more surgery on June 11 - at that time we found out that the tumor showed progression to a Grade 3. To say we were devastated is an understatement, however, Bobby's attitude about life and his drive to live his life and to help others has not changed.

So, to honor Bobby and all those fighting this disease, Team Hope Brings Strength has raised more than $45000 over the past four years for the NBTS. We are determined NOT to rest until there is a cure. The National Brain Tumor Society will not rest until a cure exists - but more needs to be done. Thank you for all those that have supported us over the years and those that have been a part of Team Hope Brings Strength. Again, we invite you to join us as Hope Brings Strength runs the Race for Hope 2018! Thank you for your support!
