New Research Programs Beginning with its 2009 funding cycle, the National Brain Tumor Society advances brain tumor research through three distinct grant programs: Standard and Advanced Grants for basic and translational research; a new Innovation Grant for transformative and catalytic projects that fall within any stage of the research and development continuum; and a renewed commitment to the advancement of knowledge of pediatric brain tumors and its translation towards effective therapies with our Pediatric Research Grant Initiative.
