Thank you to everyone who generously supported the 2014 Bella Notte event! Proceeds from the event will fund critical pediatric brain tumor investigations at Children's National as well as the complementary ground breaking pediatric research of developmental neurobiology initiatives at the National Brain Tumor Society. Our shared vision is to allow every child with brain cancer the chance to receive the very best possible therapy, and to survive their brain tumors without devastating long-term side effects from their treatments.

About Us

Children’s National Medical Center has provided hope to sick children and their families regionally, nationally, and internationally, for 140 years. Last year alone Children’s National treated more than 370,000 children. The Brain Tumor Institute at Children’s National seeks to care for and cure children diagnosed with brain tumors, and many of the pediatric brain tumor therapies used around the world today were pioneered by Children’s National.

National Brain Tumor Society is the largest nonprofit organization dedicated to the brain tumor community in the United States. We are fiercely committed to finding better treatments, and ultimately a cure, for people living with a brain tumor today and those who will be diagnosed tomorrow. Our current initiatives are focused on pediatric developmental neurobiology and aim to analyze the development of a child's brain to identify therapies which could be effective, and minimize long-term effects for pediatric brain tumor patients.
