The Brain Tumor Institute at Children’s National seeks to care for and cure children diagnosed with brain tumors, and many of the pediatric brain tumor therapies used around the world today were pioneered by Children’s National.
National Brain Tumor Society is the largest nonprofit organization dedicated to the brain tumor community in the United States. We are fiercely committed to finding better treatments, and ultimately a cure, for people living with a brain tumor today and those who will be diagnosed tomorrow. Our current initiatives are focused on pediatric developmental neurobiology and aim to analyze the development of a child's brain to identify therapies which could be effective, and minimize long-term effects for pediatric brain tumor patients.
