Welcome to the 18th Annual Team Billy Ride and Walk for Research taking place on Sunday, May 15, 2022, in Saratoga Springs, NY. There will be three bike ride distances of 50-, 25-, 10- miles starting at 8:30 AM. These rides take place throughout Saratoga County with the 50-mile course encompassing the historic Saratoga Battlefields. The 3-mile walk starts at 9:00 AM. The walk route covers the historic district of Saratoga Springs.

As you participate in the day or if you choose to create your own ride or walk, post your photos and/or videos to Instagram at @teambilly_org and the Team Billy Ride and Walk for Research Facebook page. Don’t forget to use #teambillyforresearch.

Team Billy contributes to the Billy Grey Research Chair and raises funds for brain tumor research. The grants are awarded annually through the National Brain Tumor Society. Team Billy has been successful in funding nearly $2,700,000 in grants.

COVID protocols: Team Billy will be monitoring all guidance and guidelines in place by the CDC and local government in the spring and will make the best decisions for our vulnerable community. Any guidelines will be communicated to registered participants in the weeks leading up to event day. We ask those unable or unwilling to abide by requested COVID-related protocols on event day to participate virtually from the comfort of their home. No registration fees nor donations will be refunded.

National Brain Tumor Society supports volunteers in their efforts to gather safely in support of our mission if they choose to do so. By participating in an in-person, volunteer-led community event, all attendees agree to follow CDC guidelines as well as local and national mandates on gathering at all times. Event attendees willingly expose themselves to potential health risks, and NBTS is not responsible for adverse consequences related to the pandemic or otherwise.
